Refund Policy

Last updated November 5, 2026 · Part of the Terms of Service

In short: Subscribing is risk-free. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. In the 7 days after your first payment you get a full refund, paid straight away. After that you get back the part of your plan you haven’t used, worked out by the day. Transparency is everything to us, and customer service is my number one priority.

We would rather earn your trust than keep your money, and we want you to know exactly where you stand before you pay.

The first 7 days after you pay: a full refund

If you ask within 7 days of your first payment for a plan, for any reason, we refund that payment in full, at once, with nobody to convince. Together with the 7-day free trial, that is two weeks to decide.

This is once per person, so we can keep it generous for everyone who genuinely needs it. It applies to monthly and yearly plans.

After that: the part you haven’t used

Later, or if you have already had a full refund before, ask and you get back the part of your plan you haven’t used, calculated by the day and paid at once. For example, if you paid $29 for a 30-day month and ask after 10 days, you get back the other 20 days: about $19.33. For a yearly plan it is the unused part of the year. If nothing is left of the period, Sam reads your request personally and replies by email within 2 business days.

How to ask, and what happens

Trials and free plans

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel during it you are never charged, so there is nothing to refund. Free plans have nothing to refund.

When we’re at fault

If you were charged by mistake (for example twice, or after you cancelled), or the service was down or missing something central to your plan for a long stretch, tell us and we’ll refund what’s fair, which can be more than the unused part.

Cancelling instead

You can cancel any time without a refund and keep access until the end of the paid period. People who cancel may be offered a free month of the entry plan; a plan that has been refunded doesn’t get it.

Transparency and customer service

Customer service is my number one priority. If anything on this page is unclear, or you feel something isn’t right, open Help and tell us. We read every message and we’ll put it right. Please ask before disputing a charge with your bank: a refund through My plan is faster than a chargeback, and while a chargeback is open the plan it covers may be paused.

Nothing here takes away a refund or cancellation right that the law where you live gives you.
