Terms of Service
Please read this part. Everything here is general information and opinion. It is not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything for you in particular. Investing involves risk, you can lose money, and past results do not predict future results. Decide for yourself, or with a licensed adviser.
These terms are between you and Solid Finance LLC (“we”), which publishes Keystone by Solid Finance (the “service”). By creating an account, signing in, or buying a plan, you agree to them, to the Refund Policy and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What the service is
The service shows the portfolios Sam Badawi shares, as percentages and, depending on your plan, the trades, research and updates that go with them. What you see depends on your plan, and some information is shown after a delay (weekly, daily or as it happens). We may change, add or remove features and plans at any time. If we remove something central to a plan you paid for, you can ask for a refund under the Refund Policy.
A publication, not an adviser
- The service is a general publication. Every member on the same plan sees the same content; nothing is written for your personal situation, and we don’t manage money or take orders for anyone.
- Neither Solid Finance LLC nor Sam Badawi is a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer, and nothing in the service is an offer to buy or sell a security.
- We never ask for your brokerage login, account numbers or money to invest, and no one acting for us ever will.
No advice, no guarantees
- Holdings, trades and opinions shown may already have changed by the time you read them, and may not suit your situation, goals or risk tolerance.
- Sam and we may hold, buy or sell the securities discussed, including before or after posting about them.
- Results and returns shown are for the portfolios as tracked in the service. They may not include taxes, fees, commissions or the prices you could actually trade at, and your results will differ.
- Prices and data come from third parties and can be late or wrong. We don’t guarantee that anything is accurate, complete or available.
- You are responsible for your own decisions and results.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give a real email address you control.
- Your account is for you alone. Don’t share your sign-in, and don’t let others see your screen to get around a plan. Signing in on another device ends the first session.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once from the Help page if you think someone else has used it.
- We send emails about your account, plan, payments and important changes. You can turn off optional emails; account and payment emails stay on while you have an account.
Plans, trials and payment
- Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel, at the price shown when you bought, plus any tax. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Where a free trial is offered (currently 7 days), your card is charged for the plan you chose when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. Cancelling during a trial costs nothing.
- You can cancel online any time in My plan, in a few taps. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
- If a payment fails, we’ll email you and Stripe will try again; your access may end after a short grace period.
- We may change prices. A change applies from your next renewal, and we will email you at least 14 days before it does, so you can cancel first.
- Free months, promo codes and prizes have no cash value, can’t be combined unless we say so, and may be limited to one per person.
Refund Policy
In short: A full refund in the 7 days after your first payment, and after that the part of your plan you haven’t used. The full Refund Policy is its own page and is part of these Terms.
Transparency is everything to us, and customer service is my number one priority. The Refund Policy tells you exactly what you get back and when, and how to ask. It also covers free trials, charges made by mistake, and cancelling instead.
What you may and may not do
- Don’t copy, resell, republish or share the content, images, research or videos outside the service, except for the share images the app lets you make, which must keep their name, links and logo.
- Don’t try to get around plan limits, scrape the service, probe its security, or use it to break the law.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or its members at risk. If we close a paid account for a reason that isn’t your fault, we refund the unused part of the period. You can close your account at any time from the Help page.
Ownership
The service, the research and everything on it belong to us or Sam Badawi, and your plan gives you a personal, non-transferable right to view it while your plan is active. Anything you send us (such as feedback) may be used to improve the service.
Limits on our responsibility
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from investment decisions, or for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
If you use the service in a way these terms don’t allow and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
If something goes wrong
Please tell us first from the Help page, so we can try to fix it. Most problems are settled within a few days. If we can’t settle it within 30 days, either of us may take it further, including in small claims court.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If a change is important we’ll tell you in the app or by email and ask you to accept the new version before you go on; if you don’t want to, you can cancel and, for a change that hurts you, ask for a refund of the unused part of your plan.
The rest
These terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something right away, we can still enforce it later.
